According to the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) of 1993, 1995 and 2003, Singapore students have repeatedly ranked first in the world when it comes to Mathematics. During the June holidays, Blue Orange’s learning technologies were engaged to create multimedia video content (similar to MyHomeTutor™ Education Series).
From 18 to 24 July 2005, without going to the classrooms, students from Dunman High were able to attend lessons conducted by their teachers in the comfort of their own homes. The project has not only proven successful, but also very rewarding for teachers and students alike.
Once again, Blue Orange has demonstrated its abilities to bring high-quality classroom experiences to the homes of Singaporean.

There are always complaints about “tough” questions in PSLE and this year, the “culprit” is the Mathematics paper (Today newspaper article, 7 Oct 2005). The main issue is over the IQ, non-textbook type questions - those that are more abstract and not taught in school.
Two years ago, MyHomeTutor™ anticipated the need of students in handling these non-routine problems and launched the Creative Mathematics Series for Primary 1 to 6. It has rapidly become one the top-selling series of MyHomeTutor™, allowing students at all levels to master the various problem-solving strategies. We are not only pleased but proud that MyHomeTutor™ is helping more and more students ace their Mathematics exams and PSLE.
